Kids and teenegars go through Domsetic Violence too. Emotionally children who experience the "double whammy" effect can exhibit fear, guilt, isolation, and low self-esteem. Young children exposed to both Domestic Violence and child abuse were also more likely to commit an assault and participate in delinquent behavior in their adolescence than those not exposed at all. Teenagers can go through it too if they have and abusev boyfriend or girlfriend they will start to hide things from their parents and maybe end up getting hurt.

Teens who suffer dating abuse are subject to long-term consequences like alcoholism, eating disorders, promiscuity, thoughts of suicide, and violent behavior. Teens who go through Domestic Violence would love to grow up and go to college so parents get a chance to talk to your teens before it is too late. When things get hard with their relationship they might want to start drinking and it could lead to drunk driving and they could get arrested. Teens never know they are getting into a Domestic Violence reltionship until it is too late so parents whenever you have a chance to talk to your kids about Domestic Violence please do so! You can prevent it ever happening to them.
